The program, run with partner ConFit Pathways, supports young people in juvenile justice to turn their lives around.
SHINE for Kids CEO Julie Hourigan Ruse and the program’s coordinator Anne Stuart were delighted to have the opportunity to share their stories about the resilient young people we work with.
“I am grateful for every opportunity to make the experiences of young people in the justice system heard and understood.
The young people we work with have almost always had very challenging lives before being incarcerated.
The support of a dedicated mentor is absolutely life-changing for them, helping them take practical steps to improve their futures,” Julie Hourigan Ruse said.
Thank you Perpetual Limited and Work Club Global for hosting these events.
