Child & Parent Days bring the smiles
Thank you to our AMAZING students and long-time volunteers who made our Child & Parent Days so wonderful this school holidays!
We’ve received incredible feedback from families.
One grandfather approached us after dropping his granddaughter at a Child & Parent Day in Sydney and expressed his gratitude.
He said that the SHINE team member he’d been dealing with in particular was always kind and had been a huge help for him and his grandaughter, and also a mum in custody.
He said that without SHINE’s support, things would be so much harder for his granddaughter. His kind words mean the world and are why we do what we do.
These days are just the best. There are smiles everywhere you look!
