Our team recently ran a special Arts & Crafts session for dads at the Long Bay Hospital, giving them a rare and meaningful chance to create handmade gifts for their children.
The day was a success, with dads diving into the creative process and pouring so much heart into wooden photo frames, magnets, tote bags and more.
As they worked, they opened up to our team, chatting about their children, their personalities, and just how much they mean to them.

One dad in particular proudly shared stories about his eldest son, who is performing at a high level in his football club and even representing his team in a state cup.

At the end of the session, all the dads shared a big thank you, and it was clear how much this moment of reflection and the chance to show their kids they’re loved, even from afar, meant to them.
