A group of dads at Bathurst Correctional Centre have lovingly created special Easter bags filled with goodies for their children.
The session was full of energy and engagement, with dads embracing the opportunity to make something meaningful and write heartfelt messages to their families.
They crafted rabbit face masks, decorated eggs and bags (so their children can carry a little piece of dad with them on those much-loved Easter egg hunts), and handmade cards filled with love.
And of course, each bag will include plenty of chocolate!
“There was a lot of concentration, but it was wonderful to see participants sharing ideas and helping one another when someone got stuck,” said our team.
The dads shared how positive the experience was, and how much it will help them maintain connection with their children—benefiting the whole family.
“Knowing that I have been a part of aiding the connection between dad and child is truly a meaningful and wonderful feeling.”

Handwritten messages and chocolate eggs inside this egg surprise!
