We are growing! Recently, our Queensland team came together to connect, learn, share ideas, and celebrate the opening of our new Cairns office.
Our Manager in Cairns, Matthew King, said of the day: “The opening of the SHINE for Kids Cairns office marks an important step in strengthening support for young people and families across Far North Queensland.
The day reflected connection, culture, and community, with a meaningful Welcome to Country and smoking ceremony led by Uncle Henry, whose storytelling and deep connection to country helped set the foundation for the work ahead.”
With team members now working across Southern Queensland, Cairns, Townsville, Palm Island, Mackay, Cape York and Mareeba, this marks an exciting new chapter for SHINE for Kids and the communities we support across Queensland.
