Safeguarding Children
Children’s and young people’s safety is at the heart of everything we do.
We take seriously our responsibility to deliver programs in a supportive environment that is caring, nurturing and safe.
We are committed to protecting children and young people from all forms of abuse, bullying and exploitation.
To minimise the risk of harm, we have embedded a child-safe culture, which is recognised and reflected by the people who work for us, volunteer or access our programs.
We endorse and support the principles of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child 1989 (ratified in Australia in 1990). The Convention recognises that children under the age of 18 years need special care and protection.
