With Mother’s Day coming up, our Rise mentoring team has been busy helping kids create cards for their mums, nans, aunties, sisters, and all the special people bringing up these great kids!
This is especially important for the kids who’ll be missing their mum in custody this weekend, and our team makes sure they feel included and can mark the day in their own way.
Meanwhile, dads in custody at Maquarie Correctional Centre joined our craft session and embraced their arty side to create cards for the women in their lives who are caring for their children while they are away:
