We are pleased to introduce a brand-new uniform for our team, which represents SHINE for Kids and our work.Â
The design was created by our Aboriginal Cross-Functional team and originally drawn by hand by one of our team members.
The image depicts the connectedness of SHINE for Kids, our families, our work, and our teams.
The symbols in a circular shape around the outside represent our centres, spread across different states, but all linked together through the programs we offer and our shared vision.
These centres feed into our smaller teams, shown closer to the centre, which move around and support different communities, and all link back to our head office, as represented by the symbol in the centre.
Around the outside are also the symbols for man (top left) and woman (top right), with the symbol for child between them. This represents the parents that we support, and that their children are the focus of our work.
On the bottom half of the circle, our group work is represented by symbols, showing a group of women and a group of men, with the child at the centre as the focus.
The feet around the outside show the pathways between the centres and programs, as teams work together and families move around, tying all of our work together.
Finally, every group, child, man, woman and place is connected by drawn pathways, showing that we are working together to achieve the same goals.
