Privilege celebrating 150 years with VACRO
We had the pleasure of joining prominent children of prisoners advocate Rod Barton MP at the 150th Anniversary event held by VACRO in October 2022.
VACRO provide support to people caught in the criminal justice system and their families in Victoria and we are proud to support their work in the state.
The event could not have been more perfect in marking what originated all those decades ago as a grassroots community movement.
Held in a Church Hall, we heard the powerful voices of the children the organisation has worked with tell of their lives and the unique challenges that come with having a parent in custody.
Thank you VACRO for inviting us to celebrate an incredible over-a-century of supporting Victorian families.
