At this forum Vicky Saunders, Research Fellow at ICPS, presented on the findings of her research which explored the needs of children of prisoners in the ACT.

Christine Moore, Convener of the ACT Women and Prisons Group, spoke about her lived experience of imprisonment as a parent, and the impact that incarceration has on children and young people from her perspective as an advocate and peer support worker.

Gloria Larman, CEO of SHINE for Kids, provided information on the services that are delivered in New South Wales, Victoria and the ACT to children and families affected by parental incarceration.
